Corundum Mullite Castable Description

Manufacturing Process of Corundum Mullite Castable
The main raw materials of corundum mullite castable is lightweight aluminium oxide aggregate, high quality pure natural mullite ore, and calcium aluminate cement as the bonding agent. corundum mullite refractory castable is made through high temperature burning by the advanced industrial furnace. corundum mullite flexural strength and compressive strength increase first and decrease then with the increase of heat treatment temperature. And when alumina micro power content is 5%, the flexural strength reaches to the top.
Composition of Corundum Mullite Castable
The content of Al2O3 is more than 90%, and the corundum mullite insulation castable with corundum as the main crystal phase are mixed with appropriate dispersants, coagulants, stainless steel fibers, which are compounded according to strict formula. Refractory corundum mullite castable has many characteristics, such as high temperature strength, wear-resisting and anti-scour, high heat conduction, heat shock resistance, corrosion resistance, good sealing and early condensation.
