Composition of Alumina Refractory Balls

Alumina refractory balls are made of AL2O3, kaolin, synthetic aggregate, mullite crystal and other materials. According to the rolling and the press molding method. aluminum refractory balls have the advantages of high strength, good thermal shock resistance, convenient replacement and cleaning, long service life and so on.

Alumina Refractory Balls Process

In order to make alumina refractory balls, the electrode is placed at the bottom of the graphite crucible, and the arc can be started by adding a certain amount of industrial alumina powder. Operating current 1.0kA, voltage 80~100V.After striking, as Al2O3 molten, loading gradually, until the material liquid filled with graphite crucible, the material liquid temperature is 2200 ~ 2300 ℃.After that, the crucible is poured out and the solution flows out.
